Mystifying Valley
Started blogging since 1998 when life was an unknown path in a foreign land. Now that she’s been back in Malaysia for 2 years and along with 50++ weekly work hours, this journal will only have intermitten updates and records for finer & prettier little things in life she encounters. and Dreams, for she will continue to pursue. My site has fully migrated to www.jashomi.com
I’ll be updating my blog at www.jashomi.com from here on. Sorry for the inconvenience caused.
About the Accident
Thanks for all the warm messages and non-stop phonecalls since yesterday morning when the accident happened. I’m very touched by all your kind thoughts as I never expected it to be so overwhelming.
For those who didn’t know, I had a personal accident yesterday morning around 7.30am and was wheeled to the ER immediately. Hence I never got to see the grand opening of Tech.Ed, the moment I’ve been waiting for 4 months. But I guess everything happened for a reason, as I finally got a chance to take some proper needed rest albeit in a dull & boring ward.
I was discharged today and am recuperating at home now.
I’m doing good. Hopefully I can blog more about the incident when energy permits.
The Stout Girl
With the kind of workload on my plate of late, this is exactly what I need more.
My weekend has been a blast. Will blog more if time permits.
Rapunzel in Town
never have I seen a girl’s hair so long before. Knee length!!! Must be quite some work to wash them everyday.
What The HELL MxcxoKxoxk
I just found out today I’m a victim of the sms scam! Goodness me, I’ve been blindly “robbed” of over 100 bucks in the past 3 months on the smses I received from a mobile content provider which I DID NOT REGISTER FOR! I have no freaking idea how did this MxxxoKxxxk got my number from, all I know is all these annoying smses keep pushing to my mobile whether I like it or not, and RM4 is charged to my bill for each sms!!! No kidding,
RM4 for ONE SMS!!!
I just had to make a scene at the Ipoh branch Maxis centre this afternoon after finding out that my maxis service has been interrupted because it exceeded the given credit limit. It’s so freaking frustrating. Imagine me driving back to Ipoh with no phone connection at all! What happened if I did need to make emergency calls on the road??? Then I was puzzled why my phonebill is such rocketing high when I’ve already downgraded my plan to talk75 6 months ago and more so when I hardly make phonecalls these days.
Maxis says it’s not their fault and I should complain to the content provider instead. But what the fucking hell, why can’t Maxis stop paying these illegal scammers because me as a consumer HAS NOT AGREED or GIVEN ANY CONSENSUS to receive these kind of smses!!! I want them to bar any smses from a 5 digit number but they said they couldn’t do it. For fuck sake do something then!
I honestly feel robbed, cheated and raped.
I’m currently blogging from Ipoh Specialist Centre, lying on the couch in room 2×3 whilst watching my sister sleeping. It’s really ouch to look at those tubes coming out from her body but I’m glad the ordeal is over for her. Praying for her speedy recovery now.
I feel like a fish bone stuck in my throat. What has this country become of????
Life Insignificance
I think this is the first post ever since I graduated in July. There’s no particular reason for my absence, I suppose as time wears on those little things I once thought were important are slowly fading into life’s insignificance. Or perhaps life’s priorities have varied especially when the amount of time I spend on the internet have reduced drastically.
I know it’s lame.
Anyway, I am doing good over here. This summer has been the greatest season because I consider it being the highlight of my life. I have FINALLY graduated with a 2:1 honour. For those who know me you’ll understand what I mean by that, let’s just say it has been a long haul to come this far. 7 years is something took me more than just patience but I’m glad everything paid off eventually. But what mattered most to me is despite their busy schedule, all my loved ones who mean the world to me were there to celebrate that very special moment- my congregation ceremony. The presence of my bestest buddies whom I haven’t seen for more than 6 years made it a perfect day. Well, I suppose unless you were in my shoes, you wouldn’t know how touched I was deep down.
Pictures speak for a thousand words, here’s some eye candies to share.
